Bf: Mi pass all your subjects seh.

Me: Still...i didnt get any distinctions like you.

Bf: But mi...you are all-rounder...

Me: Ya. But what's the point to be a all-rounder when i can't even get into my desired course and desired poly?

Person A -> able to qualify for poly but failed to meet one of the requirements (hence, didn't get the desired course and school).
Person B -> pass all the subjects but didn't meet the required points for poly.
Person C -> able to qualify for poly but failed english; an E8, or maths; a F9. As a result, he/she was given only a limited choice of courses.


So, which one is considered the failure?
I need answers, please.
