When everyone's in the mood to say "i love you's" and carefully rehearsing their well-written speech, on the other hand, i'm not in the very best mood to celebrate one. I'm very particular about having my time well-spent with the loved one especially on these kind of occasions. But it seems that what's supposed to happen on these 3 days is not going to happen at all.
Tomorrow,
Valentine's Day.
I like the idea of celebrating an occassion on the day itself cos you can feel that 'love is really in the air'. Unfortunately, that bugger has to work and i've dismissed that thought and excused him.
The next day, our
23 months.
He was supposed to work until 6pm. Then yesterday, he told me he has to go for a deployment at the Chingay festival from 4pm to 11pm. And the reason is, they're short of manpower. Like as if! There are many regulars out there who are supposed to do this job. And why do you have to get involve? You're just a NS man who's just been posted out a month ago, dammit! If you're saying they're short of manpower, the rest of your squadmates would have to be deployed too. So, what are you trying to say? You choose to do that rather than spare the time with me even if it means talking on the phone and wish me. I doubt that you will finish on time, boy.
The following day,
our outing.
Looks like it's not going to happen at all too. Unfortunately, i have another outing with the ex-secondary 5A people. I might want to cancel our outing since he choose to have things at his own way. He deliberately cancelled our outing last saturday on the day itself. So, it's not a revenge but a lesson to be learned. He will know what i mean.
Surprisingly, he didn't reply my message after i told him how upset i was.
It could be...
he's too angry with himself or,
he's mad at me that i didn't understand his plight or,
he knows that i'm unhappy with him that he didn't dare to reply.
