traumatised

Watching MJ's Live Memorial Service was rather heartbreaking. Especially the part when Paris (his daughter) broke down into tears while saying a speech about her father. Wah. I can just imagine myself being in her shoes. My sympathy goes to his children, his family and the ones who are closest to him. Have a good rest, MJ. RIP.

Anyhoos, anyhaas.
Yesterday, Dillah and I had the most petrified day ever at Izzat's house. Well, it was a last-minute (another) cousins gathering among the 3 of us. I was from school and had to head down to Tampines to meet them. Furthurmore, Izzat's been serving the nation at the moment. But unfortunately, his whole squad (except for him) had to be quarantine due to H1N1. So, yesterday was the only chance that i get to meet him.

We chilled at Starbucks. I had my Mcchicken meal at the same time. Nowhere to go, it suddenly struck me that we should head over to Izzat's place to play with his new kitten called Sweetie. Sounds really adorable right? Wait till you hear the later part of the story.

So, Dillah and I were like so eager at that point of time. Macam tak boleh sabar nak sampai rumah dia gitu nak main dengan kucing dia. And the moment we stepped in to his house, awwww, our hearts started to melt. There she was looking at us with those adorable eyes.

But kan, I and Dillah didn't expect Sweetie to be 'a dangerous monster disguising as a furry kitten'! Rupa-rupanya, Sweetie is soooo playful that every movement she sees (whether you're walking around the house or move your hand to take something), she will chase after you like a mad cow (or a psychotic cat) and start scratching and biting you. What's more? Her actions can be really unpredictable too. One moment she will be distracted by doing her stuffs, the next moment you will either see her running after you as though she wants to pounce on you OR literally right infront of you the moment you make a slightest move. Tak seram? I tell you, Dillah and I were screaming like hell as though we've been attacked by a gigantic monster (only this is the smaller version). We had to keep a lookout for Sweetie each time when we want to make a move. And there was one part that i was stuck against the wall, couldn't move because Sweetie was literally right infront of me, waiting to make her next move. The way she meows is as though she's hissing on you. Like as though you've come into her territory when you already know you're not allow to enter.

And Izzat being Izzat, was so mean. Dillah asked him, "eh, can your cat jump on top of the bed?" Izzat, apalagi, responded "caaaannnn..." and quickly carried her and put her on top of us. We felt safe being on top of his bed and there he goes scaring the hell out of us. And we were literally jumping and screaming on top of his bed each time Sweetie wanted to "attack". Seriously, never before in my life that i'm very afraid of a kitten. Especially when it comes to scratching and biting. Dillah and I are sooo not use to it.

After all the drama was over, I told Izzat, "I will never ever step into your house again until your cat grows up!" And he can still continue to laugh at us. *shakes head*

Well, good thing he didn't record a video of us. Kalau tak, jatuh saham aku! Isn't it ironic that you are a cat lover but afraid of kittens/cats biting or scratching you?
